With the emergence of the Competition Bureau, will business owners under investigation be able to hire legal support during the process?
It would be rather interesting to have Law firms a little more active amongst the GV admins too…

That’s an interesting thought. I guess, technically, any player can hire a law firm for anything they want. They can also hire another player to advise them on anything they want.
But with the Competition Bureau, those types of investigations are the bigger ones where it’s all behind the scenes type work and focused on identifying players who are doing things they should not be doing, so the Government (ie, us admins) don’t really expect a player under investigation to have opposing evidence. Of course, we will communicate with players under investigation to give them a chance to respond to our findings privately. If they want to hire a lawyer to help with their response, that is certainly allowed.
