Problems with 80/80 and 100/100 auto selling price

so i have been told by my retailers that the revenue difference between 80% and 100% vehicles is barely anything so i ask then as a mfg what is the point of even producing 100% stuff if the costs increase but the revenue doesnt increase?

additionally if i open up another business of another industry type im worried the same problem may occur. if you could take a look into this id appreciate it.

There are many variables that influence revenue, so it’s not easily concluded that there is little difference between 80% and 100% features/quality. There is a distinct difference in the sales algorithms, but how that plays out depends on many factors, including price, location, competition, consumer groups, and much more.
