Fellow GoVenture entrepreneurs, the next game RESET (Beta 12) will happen on MONDAY, JAN 18, 2021 around 3PM UTC . The game will be down for about 2 hours or so.
This means that all business and game data will be deleted. All companies, sales, inventory, bXP … everything will be gone — except your LOGINS and other items noted below.
As soon as the RESET happens, we will all have the opportunity to start fresh. Starting fresh is an exciting time for players.
Referral Code — Earn bXP
Remember to exchange your REFERRAL CODE with other players so you can earn 200bXP for each referral (includes returning players). Your referral code is the name of your Holding Company.

Here is what you should do after the RESET

Log in using your current username and password. Do not sign up again, just log in.

When you log in after the RESET, you will enter the CEO Training Tutorial. The tutorial will display the same Holding Company name you used previously, but you can change it in the tutorial. You will also choose a new location for your Holding Company (the previous location is not stored). Your previous Operating Businesses will be gone so you can start new.

Leaderboard data from past resets will be saved and can be viewed.

We do RESETS to clean up our database, speed up the gameplay, and allow players to experience the fun and competitive startup process. Resets may happen every 3 or 4 months, but there is no firm schedule at this time. We have heard from some players who would like a second server option that does not get reset and we are not yet sure if we will be able to offer this or not, but it is being considered for the future.
With the upcoming RESET, the following gameplay changes will be made:

Holding Companies are now allowed to do business with their own Accounting & Law Firms and Advertising Agencies.

Accounting & Law Firms, Ad Agencies, and Investment Banks are no longer limited to doing business with Holding Companies in the same countries in which they are located.

Law Firm is now renamed Accounting & Law Firm

Accounting & Law Firms now automatically earn revenue. Whenever an Operating Business sells or buys products, an Accounting & Law Firm must represent the company to handle the legal and accounting processes related to the sale. This includes Open Market sales and Direct Sales, but does not include sales to virtual Consumers. For more details, review the User Guide — Accounting & Law Firm

Advertising Agencies now automatically earn revenue. Whenever a Holding Company bids on an Ad Spot or purchases a Direct Mail Campaign Contact List, they must choose an Advertising Agency to provide the service. The selected Advertising Agency will automatically receive a percentage of the fees paid by the Holding Company with the winning Ad Spot or purchase of a Direct Mail Campaign Contact List.
