So the above table isn’t importing very nicely here but it’s a series of snapshots of the buying groups for USA, China, France and Germany over the past week. I understand the bigger economies will maintain their share of total GDP so the amount of their growth will be greater than smaller countries. If that were the case as it was in previous rounds, the % change from one day to the next would be similar for each country.

My question is for example - why is China growing by 48.4% between May 24 AM and May 25 AM when France is only growing at 33.7%. Why the other variable rates of expansion in the table?

One of the developers here:

Based on the formulas we use each country will grow at different rates.

But I believe what you are seeing is the result of a bug discovered on the 23-24th.

Brief Explanation.

Last cycle just before the reset we changed some statistics tracking to improve game performance, Unfortunately, there was a bug discovered on the live server (because off scale of growth compared to our in office test environment) that meant the numbers were not adjusting correctly. The stabilization you are seeing on the 25th is, at least in part, from the correction going live and the corresponding impact it had.

So that means the share of world GDP for each country changes every day???

It’s more stable now and the big variations seem to be around the changes of number of buying groups per country. None of the wild variations that were evident in the first few days so thanks for explanation - probably non issue
